The Sustainable Events Summit is back for 2011 at the Barbican Centre, London

It will also be a big day for eventberry as we launch the latest version of our system – see below for more details on some of the updates. We believe that the work we have done ensures that eventberry is the simplest and most cost effective way to track your sustainability and compliance to BS8901 and ISO20121.

eventberry staff will be on hand throughout the Summit to showcase the system, answer any questions and explain how we can help to make your events more sustainable. This is a great opportunity to see eventberry in action as well as learning, discussing and debating the way forward for sustainability in the events industry. We hope to see you there on the 13 June. Don’t forget to use code “SES2011BERRY” when booking to get 25% off your ticket.

Wayne Hemingway MBE, founder of the Vintage Festival

We find working with eventberry to guide us through the BS8901 process and help us in tackling sustainable issues at events an essential and integral part of what we do. I'd like to thank the eventberry team for the invaluable assistance given on the Isle of Wight festival this year, and look forward to working together on the next event.

We’re changing...

One of the most exciting and challenging aspects of working in the field of sustainability is that the picture is constantly changing. What could be the perfect solution for one event may not work on a different project. We recognise that we have to keep adapting the services we offer in order to reflect this.

We’re excited to be able to announce some big new improvements to the system including:

  • Fully updated sections to meet the requirements of the new ISO20121 draft standard.

  • Revolutionary new email integration system which allows you to CC, BCC or forward emails to your eventberry account which the system then integrates into your project.

  • Fresh, clean new look and smoother and more stable performance.

  • A brand new pricing structure which makes a year’s subscription less than half the price of a single project for some users.

We’ll have more details on these exciting developments soon, as well as news of our new mobile integration which will allow you to manage your projects on your iPhone, BlackBerry or Android smart phone.

Schroders are one of the first financial organisations to seriously consider and implement compliance to BS8901. It is vital for us to have a simple, straightforward system to manage the information required to be compliant with the British standard, and eventberry has allowed us to organise this data from our suppliers and stakeholders.

Before discovering eventberry I was at a loss as to how to collate and report the information, so I am delighted to have found this step-by-step online tool. Plus the support and guidance from the team at Seventeen Events has been invaluable.
